Who we are​

CaTaLiNA: Cancer de Tiroides en Latino America is an interprofessional group created with the objective to decrease the thyroid cancer incidence in LA countries

The CaTaLiNA Group was established on September 12, 2018, bringing together specialists in Head and Neck Surgery, Endocrinology, Radiology, Pathology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, as well as researchers and medical students from Ecuador, Brazil, Peru, Colombia, Mexico, Uruguay, and the United States. CaTaLiNA is founded on an equitable partnership among its members.

Through adaptive shared leadership, the Hub Directors ensure the sustainability of the Hubs, the network, and the Unit.

To conduct research, education, and training projects to improve patient-centered care for thyroid cancer patients.
